Where Master Bakers Rise to the Occasion

The FHA Bakery Challenge celebrates and promotes excellence in artisanal baking while nurturing innovative talent across the region. This dynamic competition creates valuable networking opportunities and facilitates knowledge sharing among industry professionals.

Launched at FHA-HoReCa 2024 and returning at FHA 2026, the FHA Bakery Challenge will run alongside the Asian Pastry Cup and FHA Dessert Challenge. This event is organised in collaboration with the Singapore Pastry Alliance, an esteemed member organisation of the Singapore Chefs’ Association, and endorsed by the World Association of Chefs’ Societies (Worldchefs).

The FHA Bakery Challenge will be held from 21-22 April 2026 at Hall 4, Singapore Expo. An awards ceremony for the FHA Bakery Challenge will be held on 22 April 2026 at the Main Stage at Hall 8.

Admission to participate in the FHA Bakery Challenge will be granted to a maximum of 10 teams from Asia and beyond. Each team will represent their respective nation or region.

The FHA Bakery Challenge will welcome 10 teams from different Asian nations or territories.

Teams officially representing nations where a formal national selection process has taken place will receive priority consideration, provided all enrolment procedures are properly completed.

The first 10 teams to submit applications and receive official confirmation from the Organiser will secure their place in the competition.

The event welcomes applications from teams representing Asian countries and regions, including but not limited to:

To participate in the FHA Bakery Challenge, teams must complete the registration process as outlined below:

  • A non-refundable registration fee of SGD 500 is required per team.
  • The registration fee will not be refunded if the competition is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the Organiser’s control, or if an application is withdrawn by a competing team.
