  1. What are the opening hours of the exhibition?
  2. The exhibition's opening hours are:

    17 – 19 April 2012 (Tue – Thur)   : 10am – 6pm
    20 April 2012 (Fri)                       : 10am – 4pm

    Visitor registration will stop 30 minutes before the closing time during all four days of the exhibition.

  3. Is there a dress code to observe?

    We seek your understanding that this is a trade (business-to-business) event and that visitors should be in proper business attire.

    Visitors in any of the following attire will not be allowed entry into the exhibition:

     

    • Shorts / Bermudas
    • Singlets / Sleeveless Shirts / Sleeveless T-Shirts
    • Slippers / Flip-Flops
    • Sandals / Sports Sandals
    • Uncovered Footwear (for gentlemen)
    • Uncovered Footwear without heels (for ladies)

  4. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission, without prejudice, to visitors who are deemed to be inappropriately dressed.

  5. I would like to make some appointments with the exhibitors. How can I contact them prior to the exhibition?

    Food&HotelAsia2012 uses a powerful portal named Online Show Catalogue where you can conduct the following anytime and anywhere you want it:

    • Search and view the list of exhibitors including their agents and principals.
    • Search and view products and services offered by exhibitors.
    • Register as a Online Show Catalogue user and log in to:
      • Access contact information of exhibitors.
      • Specify your interest and be matched with the right products and exhibitors every time you log in.
      • Contact and fix appointments with exhibitors.

  7. How can I obtain a copy of the Show Directory?
  8. The FHA2012 Show Directory is on sale during the exhibition at SGD30 a copy. It comes bundled with a copy of the WSA2012 Show Directory. The Show Directory Sales Counters are located at the Visitor Registration areas.

    Registration

  9. I want to visit Food&HotelAsia2012 exhibition. How do I register?
  10. Before the Show – You can pre-register your visit before 8 April 2012 by completing the online Pre-Registration Form

    During the Show – If you did not pre-register, you will have to proceed to the Visitor Registration Area at the Singapore Expo to purchase an admission ticket.  Admission fee is SGD80 (refer to 'Admission Fee' section of the Visitor FAQs). Complete the admission ticket and present it to the Visitor Registration counter along with your business/name card, to obtain your entry badge.  Please note that you will still have to be from the relevant trade before you are allowed to purchase the ticket.

  11. Am I considered a pre-registered visitor after submitting the online pre-registration form?
  12. No. Your pre-registration submission is subject to approval by the Organiser. Once your pre-registration is approved, a Pre-Registration Confirmation Letter containing your Pre-Registration Number will be sent to your email address. You will also be notified if your registration is unsuccessful. Please allow up to 7 working days for our staff to process your registration.

  13. It's been more than 7 working days since I've pre-registered, but I have not received any notification from the Organiser. What should I do?

  14. You can Contact Us to check on your pre-registration status. In order for us to retrieve your record, please provide the following information as submitted during your pre-registration:

  15. I've lost my Pre-Registration Confirmation Letter. What should I do?
  16. If you can remember your Pre-Registration Number reflected in the confirmation letter, you can quote this number together with your business card when collecting your visitor entry badge.

    If you do not have your Pre-Registration Number, you can request for our staff to check the system by producing your business card.  In the event that your record cannot be found, you will need to pay a SGD80 admission fee to enter the exhibition.

  17. I am a pre-registered visitor. Due to some reasons, I am unable to visit the exhibition. Can I get my colleague/friend/relative to attend on my behalf? 
  18. No. Your pre-registration is approved based on your personal information and is strictly non-transferrable. You will be required to produce the necessary documents/ID for verification purposes during the collection of your visitor entry badge.     

  19. What privileges can I enjoy from pre-registering my visit? 

    As a pre-registered visitor, you can enjoy the following privileges:

    • Waiver of the SGD80 admission fee upon approval of pre-registration.
    • Hassle-free collection of admission badge with the improved on-site visitor management system.
    • Enjoy SGD5 off per set of FHA2012+WSA2012 Show Directory (Selling Price SGD30/set).

    Admission Fee

  21. Is there any admission fee payable to visit Food&HotelAsia2012?
  22. Yes. To enter the exhibition of Food&HotelAsia2012, visitors will have to purchase an admission ticket which costs SGD80 (inclusive of 7% GST). This admission ticket includes the admission to the exhibition of Wine&SpiritsAsia2012.

    However, you can enjoy free admission plus some other benefits if you pre-register your visit by 8 April 2012.

  23. Where can I purchase the admission ticket?
  24. Admission ticket can only be purchased at the Visitor Registration Area during the opening hours of the exhibition.

  25. Are there any restrictions to the purchase of admission tickets?
  26. Admission tickets will only be sold to trade visitors who are related to the food and hospitality industry. You will be required to produce your business card for verification prior to the purchase or even during the registration process.

  27. What mode of payment can I use to purchase the admission ticket?
  28. Only CASH is accepted for the purchase of admission tickets and it must be made in Singapore Dollars. Automated Teller Machines (ATM) and money exchange service are available within Singapore Expo.

  29. How can I get complimentary admission to the exhibition?
  30. You will not be required to pay the admission fee if you hold a valid 'Complimentary Admission Ticket'. These complimentary tickets are mainly issued through the exhibitors to their clients and invited business associates.

    Alternatively, you can pre-register your visit to the exhibition by submitting the 'Visitor Pre-Registration' form via the website before 10 April 2012. You will not be required to pay the admission fee once your pre-registration is approved.

    Travel & Accommodation

  31. I need assistance in my travel and accommodation arrangements. Who can I approach?
  32. The Organiser has appointed a list of official travel agents located in various countries to assist you in your travel and accommodation arrangements. The list of FHA2012 official travel agents can be found here

  33. The country I'm from does not have an official travel agent appointed by the Organiser. Who can I approach for assistance for my travel arrangements?

  35. Can I board the complimentary hotel-to-venue shuttle buses if I am not staying at the official hotel?
  36. Priority to board the hotel-to-venue shuttle buses will be given to guests staying at the official hotels. If you are not an in-house guest, you can take the local train (MRT) to the Expo station, or a metered taxi to Singapore Expo. Information on the various modes of transport to the venue can be found here.

  37. I need to apply for a Travel Visa to enter Singapore for FHA2012. I have been told by the Singapore Mission nearest to me that I need a Letter of Introduction from the Organiser. Who can I contact to obtain this Letter of Introduction?
