Student Educational Visit

If you represent an educational institution offering relevant food & hospitality courses and are interested in organising a student group to visit Food&HotelAsia2012 (FHA2012), you may apply under the Student Educational Visit programme.

Application for the Student Educational Visit will start on 1 December 2011 and closes on 31 March 2012. Please download, complete and email the application form to Ms Mavis Huang at mh@sesallworld.com within the application period.

As this is a trade event, there are guidelines in place to ensure that FHA2012 remains a business-oriented platform while serving your educational needs:

  1. Each institution will be limited to a maximum of 100 student passes.  Different faculties from the same institution will still be considered as one institution.
  2. Student passes are valid only on the day of issuance and the number of passes issued will NOT be counted towards the daily or overall visitor/attendee number of FHA2012.
  3. Each group is to adhere to the assigned visiting date and admission time.
  4. Application must be submitted through the institution. The Organiser will not accept application by individual students.
  5. The Organiser requests that every student group has a ratio of 10 students to 1 lecturer/staff, failing which, the Organiser will reserve the right not to allow the group entry to the exhibition halls.
  6. All students must come in their school uniform or proper business attire as stipulated by the Organiser’s admission requirement.
  7. Individual students or groups who present themselves at the entrance without prior application to the Student Educational Visit programme will not be granted entry to the exhibition halls.
  8. Students have to be briefed by the institutions on the code of conduct expected at a trade event.  They are not allowed to pester exhibitors at all times for any free gifts or samples.  The institution will be held responsible and liable for its students’ behavior and conduct during the educational visit.
