According to data from STR, hotels in the Asia Pacific region reported positive results in the three key performance metrics during Q3 2017 – occupancy rose 3.3% to 73.5% in Q3 2017 compared to the same quarter in 2016; ADR increased 1.6% to $98.39; and RevPAR jumped 5% to $72.36.

Likewise, according to a new report from Cushman & Wakefield, global food and beverage (F&B) market and expenditure has seen healthy growth over the last ten years, led by Asia Pacific and expected to continue. Based on data from Oxford Economics, F&B spend in Asia Pacific is forecast to grow at an annual average of 7.4% up to 2026.
