FoodAsia2008,
one of the specialised events of
FHA2008, serves as a comprehensive one-stop food and beverage (F&B)
marketplace, hosting international trade buyers and sellers from the
F&B industries under one roof.
FoodAsia2008 will incorporate several
exciting features alongside its exhibition, namely the well-established
FHA Culinary Challenge (FCC), the FHA Imperial Challenge, a Coffee
and Tea section, the Halal Pavilion, and for the first time at FHA2008,
the Asia Barista Competition.

FHA Culinary Challenge is Asia’s most recognised culinary
competition. This year’s Culinary Challenge will feature participants
from around the world competing
in various competitions such as ‘Pastry
Showpiece’, ‘Ethnic Asian Meal’, ‘Ice Carving’, ‘Pumpkin

teams from China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan cook up
a storm in this ‘survival of the fittest’ battle. Click

Taiwan and Thailand fighting for the title of Asia Barista Champion.
Wine&SpiritsAsia2008,
an international exhibition of wine,
spirits and beer, serves to bridge leading wine and spirits buyers
with prominent international sellers. The 3rd edition of
the Wine&SpiritsAsia Challenge,
where wine entries will be judged
by influential wine connoisseurs, strives to raise the knowledge,
prestige and commercial value of winning wines to the world.
Back
for the 3rd time at FHA, the Wine&SpiritsAsia Challenge
aims to promote world-class wines to Asia. 2008’s edition has
influential wine experts such as Dermot Nolan MW, Patricia Guy and
